Welcome to the 2019-2020 School Year
It is a pleasure to welcome you to a new school year at St. Pius X School. I am looking forward to developing an exciting and enriching educational experience for your child in my classroom. The middle school years are a time of intense emotional, social, intellectual and physical growth. My goal is to have an educational environment where every student can learn, is respected, valued and challenged. I hope that we can closely work together to increase and facilitate your child's learning.
This school year, I will be your child's Social Studies (6th, 7th and 8th) teacher. The students will enhance vocabulary development, writing skills, and comprehension in areas covered in Social Studies. They will also learn about (6th grade/People, Places, and Cultures of the world), (7th grade/People, Places, and the history of the state of Texas), and (8th grade/People, Places, and the history of the United States).
